Try your hand at spindle turning as an introduction to woodturning. Learn about the lathe, woodturning safety, how to sharpen tools, make a bead & cove stick, and learn how the Learning Center is operated. Class is free. Tools & supplies provided.

Nick Cook is a well known instructor for teaching proficiency of tools by using simple turning projects that are fun. While you‘re having fun turning, your skill is increasing. Bring your favorite tools to class along with a selection of sandpapers.
