This is the first of 5 sessions to introduce new learners to the art and craft of woodturning.  Each adult/youth pair will be partnered with an experienced woodturner from the OVWG.  Each session is designed to be a foundation for future learning.  Each session will begin with a safety review. Participants will then embark on hands-on learning at one of the lathes in the Learning Center.

All tools and equipment are provided by the OVWG.

Registration is required for each participant, youth and adult.  A nominal $5 fee for each participant must be paid at the time of registration. Adult participants may pay $10 to cover both registrants in their pair.

OVWG Learning Center is located at Kennedy Heights Cultural Campus
