Hey OVWG members,

Are you planning on attending the AAW Symposium in Louisville this coming June? If so, the Louisville Area Woodturners are hosting and they are asking if we could provide a little help to make sure this is the best symposium ever. They need volunteers to help out at the symposium. If you are going down before the symposium starts, they could use help setting up lathes for the youth turning and getting other equipment ready. Another big help would be take down once the symposium is over. Some other ways to help would be helping with registration, folding and selling T-shirts, and selling raffle tickets, just to name a few. It is asked that if you volunteer, to please do so at least one session a day. Spouses can also volunteer even though they may not be attending the symposium. I am the liaison with the Louisville Area Woodturners, so if you are interested or have any questions, please call or email me.
