If you are still looking for a great deal on a Christmas present for some lucky wood turner or for yourself, we have a few spots still available for the February Chris Ramsey class. This is a 3 day class where you will complete not only a mini cowboy hat but a natural edge footed bowl. Chris invites all levels of turners to his classes. This 3 day class is only $300 and this includes the wood for both projects. Chris has long been one of the favorite instructors in the OVWG Learning Center. The last time Chris was here the waiting list was so full, we asked Chris to stay and conduct another class! Sign up now and get one of the few remaining spots.

In January Dennis Reed will be hosting a Jam Session on the Bandsaw. Come prepared with tips and tricks to discuss with others. What's your favorite blade and where do you purchase it? All things bandsaw related will be open for discussion. The Jam Sessions have been a fun event for everyone that has attended. Plan on being at this one. Registration is not required but do bring a snack to share with everyone.
Don't forget to come early enough to participate in the new Social Hour starting at our January meeting. Jim Nuckols, Hospitality Chairman, will have morning snacks available along with coffee and tea. The meeting will continue to start at 9 a.m. but plan on coming early. This will give everyone a better chance to look at the items on the Show N Tell table.
