 WHAT'S UP

The OVWG works better when everyone participates.

January Meeting is going to be an interesting and informative demonstration. This past summer we had Jim Duxbury come into the Learning Center to show several of our members how to do a spiral and a cube. James Brenza and David Wright were lucky enough to take Jim's classes and they have agreed to demonstrate these two projects. Both of these items can be made into art pieces, jewelry, and even lamp bases. Both the cube and the spiral are turnings that have people wondering "how". Come to the January meeting and see how these are done.

We held a Band Saw Jam Session yesterday that was fun and informative. Dennis Reed is planning on offering a band saw class based on feedback received from members attending the Jam Session. Watch for this to be on the calendar. There will also be special classes offered for all Learning Center Monitors. Contact Mike Ball for information about becoming a Monitor.
