Won't you please consider taking time to make use of the OVWG Forum? This can be a great way for us to come together while we are being asked to stay apart. I'm sure many miss the monthly meeting and events in the Learning Center. Go to ovwg.org, login, and choose Forum in the menu.
How about introducing yourself (older members to new ones and new members to the elders), ask a question, tell a story, share what you are doing on your lathe, shop or home, what is your favorite tool, best wood for turning or anything that strikes your fancy. Member Mike Kroeger is looking to upgrade his lathe and he was wondering if any other OVWG member has one or if anyone has knowledge about one. Can you help him? Look in the Equipment section.
The forum has been an unused asset on the website. I hope that you find the forum useful during the pandemic and create a community useful to the guild for years to come.
