According to our By-Laws Article XVIII #2  the elections shall normally be held in April, but the positions are not assumed until September 2021.

There has been nothing normal about this past year.

The Board will be doing a mail in ballot and in preparing for that, we are asking that you make sure your membership is current so you are eligible to vote. Please make sure your address is current in your profile. This will be the address that the ballots will be mailed to. I also want to stress to all members that there is no committee that has the Board’s authority to “vet” any member of the OVWG that wants to run for any Board position. If you have been a member of the OVWG for 2 years you are encouraged to run for a position on the Board. It is up to the members of the OVWG to pick the Board as it has always been.  As I said in past emails, I have held the positions of VP of Programming as well as the current position of President. These two positions are open for this election. I want to make sure that no person who is interested in running is over looked. Contact me for a description of the job duties as per the By-Laws and putting your name in the running.

 The Board is currently working on the process we will be using in this election and will post this information as soon as it is completed.
