  • Topic:  Learn to turn a basic lidded box.  We will take a blank through shaping, hollowing, lid fitting and sanding.  If time allows, we will also explore inlaying the top with a decorative inlay.  Tools used will include gouges, scrapers, chucks, and sanding supplies..  
  • Skill Level:  Intermediate skills, must have comfort and established abilities with gouges and scrapers. 
  • Project:  Complete a turned box ready for finish.
  • Materials:  3" x 3" x 6" blank and sandpaper (supplied).  Specialty tools will be made available by the instructor.
