Jim Duxbury Cube 1 Day Class

This class details how to layout a 3" cube with six equal sized spheres so they intersect exactly to make small open circles. Each student will learn how to make a template that will be used to guide the cutting of each of the intersecting spheres.
What to bring to class:
Ruler and pencil
compass
1/4" drill bit
1/4" Round nose scraper
Sandpaper
Material fee payable in class $20 - $50 depending on how many you want to turn
In case you finish the first project and want to do something else, you will be able to complete a saw-tooth bowl
Tools needed for this project:
3/8" or 1/2" bowl gouge
1" spindle roughing gouge
3/8" detail gouge
1 set of dividers (two points)
ruler
burning wire
